ㄧ般客答問：

何謂和尚尼姑？何謂菩薩？
發願出家稱和尚尼姑，發願度眾稱菩薩。

何謂和尚？何謂菩薩？
和尚職業是唸經，菩薩是為度眾而來。

菩薩發何願度眾？
為度眾生生死而來。
為度眾生身體健康而來。
為度眾生身心快樂而來。
為此而發三大願，願度眾生到達彼岸，永離生死苦海。

Ordinary response:

What’s monk or nun? What’s bodhisattva?
Swear to leave house is monk or nun. Swear to save human to next shore is bodhisattva.


What’s monk do? What’s bodhisattva do?
Monk professional is to recite Sutra, Bodhisattva expert is to save you to next shore safe and sound.


What’s Bodhisattva’s swear ?
Swear to resolve human live and death problem to come.
Swear to protect human to have a good body health to come.
Swear to make you to have a happy joyful life to come.

For this three reason to have Three Swear, wish all human to reach next shore, leave suffering samsara  for good.
